Some FHSU Business Education Alumni met on campus on May 11, 2010 to discuss upcoming changes in policy, funding, and curriculum as it relates to Marketing Education in Kansas High Schools.Mr. Chris Battin (Great Bend High School), Mr. Chase Topliff (Goodland High School), Mrs. Shaina Prough (Hays High School), and Mrs. Darla Stone (K-State)--joined via "Skype." We had a great discussion as we shared insights, strategies, and ideas for redesigning our programs and creating even more opportunities for Kansas students.
As we look forward, we are considering additional meetings to share ideas and grow together professionally. If you are interested in joining us in the fall, let me know (sjones@fhsu.edu) we would love to grow Marketing Pathways in Western Kansas.
